Airinmar, the repair and support services subsidiary of AAR Corp has renewed its contract with Singapore Airlines for the supply of repair cycle management services.
Asia Digital Engineering, the MRO arm of Capital A, has opened a new 35,000-square metre facility at Kuala Lumpur International Airport that has 14 lines of maintenance.
Embraer will build a new hangar at Fort Worth in Texas, scheduled for opening in 2027, to expand the MRO capacity of its E-jet aircraft family.
JADE Engineering, the aircraft cabin solutions subsidiary of SIA Engineering Company, has opened a flammability test lab in partnership with Singapore Polytechnic.
MAB Engineering Services (MABES), the maintenance subsidiary of the Malaysia Aviation Group, has signed a service Agreement with Piedmont Propulsion Systems covering inspections, repairs and exchanges for the aviation group's Firefly's ATR 72 turboprop propellers. MABES also signed, at the MRO Asia Pacific 2024 exhibition and conference last week, a Memorandum of Understanding with Meraque Services to integrate unmanned aerial vehicles, autonomous ground vehicles and artificial intelligence into its operations.
Virgin Australia (VA) has signed a strategic partnership with Sabre to be the launch customer of the travel technology company's SabreMosaic platform for airline retailing. VA also extended its airline IT and global destination systems agreements with Sabre.
