Malaysia Airlines and IndiGo commence code-sharing

Following a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed last April, Malaysia Airlines (MAS) and IndiGo have embarked on a strategic code-share to enhance connectivity and elevate the traveler experience from key hubs in Malaysia and India. Read More » The MAS code will be added to seven IndiGo domestic destinations in India, complementing the airline’s schedule of 10 destinations to the subcontinent. The IndiGo code will be carried on MAS domestic flights operating from Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1. “This strategic partnership reflects our mutual commitment to boosting tourism between our nations, especially with visa-free entry for tourists to the two countries, Malaysia Aviation Group managing director, Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, said. “This collaboration not only expands travel options for our customers but strengthens the cultural and economic ties between the two nations,” IndiGo CEO, Pieter Elbers, said.
