Eastar Jet orders more 737 MAX 8s

Eastar Jet has committed to the acquisition of 12 737 MAX 8s with deliveries scheduled for next year and in 2026. Read More » Currently, the South Korea-headquartered LCC operates five of the type as well as 10 737-800s. Eastar expects to accept seven 737 MAX 8s in 2025, with the remaining five aircraft in the order to be delivered in 2026. Local media reports the LCC's largest shareholder, VIG Partners, supports the airline’s expansion.
