SIA Group’s Scoot will commence nonstop Singapore to Padang, Phu Quoc and Shantou at the turn of the year. Read More » The LCC will operate three times a week E190-E2s to Vietnam’s Phu Quoc from December 20 and increase the route’s frequency to five weekly in January. Singapore-Padang, also to be flown with E190-E2s, will commence on January 6 at four times a week. Singapore-Shantou, Scoot's 17th destination in China will soon be served with a three times a week service flown by A320 family aircraft. “We are happy to announce flights to Padang, Phu Quoc and Shantou and hope to inspire more travellers to discover the diverse experiences our new destinations have to offer,” Scoot CEO, Leslie Thng, said. In early 2025, the LCC will add frequencies on its Singapore to Davao, Jakarta, Koh Samui and Vientiane flights. It also will withdraw from Nanchang on February 14 after the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday peak has passed.
