SpiceJet acquires 13 Q400s in settlement with Export Development Canada
SpiceJet will pay Export Development Canada (EDC) US$22.5 million to resolve a US$90.8 million dispute involving 13 De Havilland Canada Dash 8 Q400s. Read More » SpiceJet will take full ownership of the 13 turboprops financed by the EDC, local media reports. “The resolution allows the airline to move forward with a strengthened balance sheet and to focus on returning the Q400s to service as quickly as possible,” SpiceJet chair and managing director, Ajay Singh, said.
