Hawaiian Airlines resumes Honolulu-Auckland after seasonal hiatus

Hawaiian Airlines has resumed flying to Auckland with Airbus wide-bodies. Read More » A Hawaiian Airlines A330-200, registration N361HA, touched down at Auckland airport on November 16 following an eight-hour flight from Honolulu. After 120 minutes on the ground, the wide-body departed for Honolulu. The U.S. airline has scheduled three flights a week on the route to April 30 next year. “We love connecting people with aloha and take our decade-long commitment to connecting New Zealand with Hawaii and the United States (and vice versa) very seriously,” Hawaiian Airlines country director New Zealand,” Russell Williss, said. Hawaiian Airlines had previously served Auckland year round but suspended the route from April-until now. The U.S. carrier flies Auckland-Honolulu in competition with Air New Zealand's year-round schedule.
