Major management changes at Cathay

Cathay Pacific Airways has confirmed the appointment of three new directors at the airline, all effective from the summer of 2015. Read More »
Paul Loo, currently general manager China, will become director corporate development, replacing James Barrington who will become group director airframe services at Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAECO).
Simon Large, currently the airline’s general manager marketing, loyalty programmes & CRM, will become director cargo, succeeding James Woodrow, who will move to The China Navigation Company as managing director.
Tom Owen, senior vice-president for the Americas, will take up the position of director people, taking over from Nick Rhodes, who will become the director of staff at John Swire & Sons, Hong Kong.
Cathay Pacific chief executive, Ivan Chu, will serve as oneworld governing board chairman for the year ahead, succeeding IAG’s Willie Walsh.
