United Airlines to inaugurate Guam-Taipei in second quarter 2025

United Airlines (UA) will operate twice a week Taipei-Guam from next April 2 with 737-800s fitted with 16 business and 150 economy seats. Read More » Guam lieutenant governor, Joshua Tenorio, speaking in Taipei earlier this week, said the UA schedule will help rebuild Guam’s tourism market, now sitting at 60% of pre-COVID-19 levels. The flights will benefit Guam residents who have to travel to the Philippines for medical treatment by offering Taiwan as an alternative, he added. Earlier this year, UA said it will commence daily Tokyo Narita to Kaohsiung in July next year. UA flies double daily Taipei-San Francisco.
