India records 5.3% domestic passenger traffic growth in October

India’s domestic air passengers flown hit 13.6 million year-on-year last month, the country’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) reports. Read More » For the month, IndiGo flew 8.6 million passengers (63.3% market share), followed by Air India (2.6 million passengers) and Vistara at 1.2 million passengers. Combined the two Tata’s Group airlines secured 28.5% of the domestic air passenger market.
