Alaska Air Group to launch Seattle to North Asia in 2025

Seattle is the airline group’s “new global gateway”, the airline said, adding it aimed to fly to 12 long-haul destinations from the Washington State city by 2030. “At our global gateway in Seattle, we can conveniently connect travellers from across our network to Asia and beyond,” Alaska Air Group CEO, Ben Minicucci, said. “Hawaiian’s spacious wide-bodies and its excellent onboard service and amenities will make for a terrific trip from one side of the Pacific Rim to the other.” Alaska Air Group, headquartered in Seattle, completed full acquisition of Honolulu-based Hawaiian Airlines last September.
