Air India to streamline Australia-Europe flight connections

In the coming 12 months, Air India will retime its daily services from Delhi to Melbourne and Sydney and tweak Delhi-Frankfurt and Delhi-Paris to enhance two-way connectivity between Europe, Australia and destinations in Southeast Asia. Read More » The Star Alliance member is flying 787-900s formerly operated by Vistara between Delhi and Frankfurt and Mumbai and Frankfurt (both 787-9s). Additionally, it will boost Delhi-Singapore with 787-9s and Mumbai-Singapore with A321neo. The flag carrier will increase India-Bangkok to four times daily with A320neos retrofitted with business, premium economy and economy cabins. “The changes will see Air India deploy its best aircraft to key gateways in Southeast Asia and Europe complementing the operations of its A350s and B777s on multiple U.S. and UK routes,” Air India said. “They will offer seamless intercontinental travel between North America or Europe and Australia or Southeast Asia via Air India’s hubs in Delhi and Mumbai.”
