Juneyao Airlines lands in Sydney

Read More » Inaugural flight HO1669, operated by 787-9 registration B-20EC, landed at Australia’s largest airport a little before 0645 local time on December 17 following a near 10-hour journey from coastal China. After about two hours on the ground it operated the reciprocal HO1670 service to Shanghai. Juneyao is serving the route four times a week and is one of one two airlines flying nonstop between the two cities alongside China Eastern Airlines (CEA). “We are excited to announce the expansion of our network in Oceania to the vibrant harbour city of Sydney, our first destination in Australia,” Juneyao president, Yu Chengji, said. “We are confident the people of Sydney will appreciate this direct service, connecting them seamlessly to our Shanghai hub and beyond via our extensive China, Asia and Europe network.”
