Airbus finishes 2024 with 766 aircraft deliveries, 735 orders

Read More » While the figure was four aircraft below the airframer's target of 770 commercial aircraft deliveries for the year, it did represent an increase of 31 aircraft from the 735 deliveries recorded in 2023. "Given the complex and fast-changing environment we continue to operate in, we consider 2024 a good year," Airbus Commercial Aircraft CEO, Christian Scherer, said. "It has been a massive team effort to deliver this 2024 result." The company booked gross orders for 878 aircraft in 2024. Airbus said its commercial aircraft order backlog stood at 8,658 aircraft, compared with 8,598 aircraft at the end of 2023.
