Boeing appoints new CEO

Boeing president and chief operating officer, Dennis Muilenburg, 51, will succeed Jim McNerney as chief executive from July 1. Read More »

McNerney, 65, who has held the top job at Boeing for the past decade, will remain chairman of the company’s board of directors and “will continue working as a company employee until retiring at the end of February 2016,” Boeing said in a statement. Muilenburg has also been elected a member of the board.

McNerney said Muilenburg would “bring a rich combination of management skills, customer focus, business and engineering acumen, a can-do spirit and the will to win.” Meanwhile, Ray Conner will continue as president and chief executive of Boeing Commercial Airplanes.


New CEO for Air Seychelles

Roy Kinnear will become the new chief executive of Air Seychelles, effective July 1. Kinnear will replace Manoj Papa, who departs after an18-month tenure.

Kinnear currently holds the position of senior vice-president for revenue management and planning at Etihad Airways, which has a 40% equity stake in Air Seychelles.
