Today's briefs report news from AirAsia MOVE, Avolon, Castlelake Aviation, Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia, Malaysian Aviation Commission, Palo Alto Networks, SITA and SriLankan Airlines. Read More »

Aircraft lessor, Avolon, has completed acquisition of Castlelake Aviation. The transaction, which adds 106 aircraft on lease and commitments for 10 new aircraft to Avolon’s portfolio, was announced last September.

Air travel technology company, SITA, has selected cybersecurity firm, Palo Alto Networks, to supply comprehensive cybersecurity protection for mission-critical airports applications.

SriLankan Airlines is Capital A online travel agent business, AirAsia MOVE, newest direct airline partner.

Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) CEO, Datuk Captain Norazman Mahmud, told Malaysia's Bernama news agency he expects the merger of the CAAM and Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) to be completed in second half calendar 2025.
