Emirates Airline cuts ribbon on upgraded Bangkok lounge

Emirates Airline has opened the doors to its refurbished passenger lounge at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. Read More » Located in the airport’s Satellite 1 Terminal, the lounge can seat 250 people. It is the largest of the airline's 34 airport lounges outside its Dubai home hub. Emirates flies five times a day between Dubai and Suvarnabhumi and daily Bangkok-Hong Kong. It also operates two flights daily between Dubai and Phuket. "Operating the largest premium cabin capacity among international carriers to and from Bangkok, Emirates provides more than 870 first and business class daily seats on its routes to and from the city," the carrier said. "The extensive premium seat capacity reinforces Emirates’ position as the leading foreign airline for luxury travel to and from Bangkok. It has driven the expansion of its airport lounges to accommodate its growing number of premium customers."
