Avia Solutions Group, an aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance company (ACMI) has opened a global services centre in Manila. It will focus on MRO and flight operations across the group but also will contribute to Avia’s IT, payroll, finance and other administrative functions.

DHL Global Forwarding’s White Paper, China Plus X: The New Global Supply Chain, outlines how firms can build more resilience into their global supply chains by going beyond the “China Plus 1” approach. It includes strategic alternatives and additions in South East Asia, Southern and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and South America. “The future of global supply chains is a flexible, sustainable and diversified structure designed for resilience,” DHL Global Forwarding Asia Pacific CEO, Niki Frank, said.

HAECO Group has contracted with Emirates Airline to provide landing gear and overhaul services for the carrier’s 777s.

STARLUX Airlines has received the International Air Transport Association Centre of Excellence for Independent Validators certification for pharmaceutical cold chain transportation and fresh produce transportation.

IndiGo and Turkish Technic have agreed for the MRO to conduct redelivery checks on the India carrier’s A320neo.
