SpiceJet investigating expansion to long-haul destinations

India LCC, SpiceJet, is considering acquisition of wide-body jets to broaden its network to long-haul destinations, SpiceJet managing director and CEO, Ajay Singh, told an audience at Aviation Festival Asia 2025 this week. Read More » The expansion might be necessary because of unprecedented rising air travel demand and also because competitors are planning long-haul expansion, Singh said. “We are discussing with major manufacturers and we are discussing wide-body orders with them as well. We need to be prepared for that. We are certainly looking at that,” he said.
