Tigerair Taiwan’s Japan destinations to include Yonago from May

Read More » The flights into Yonago Kitaro Airport in Tottori Prefecture will operate twice a week. The route’s inauguration will coincide with the 16th Taiwan-Japan Tourism Summit being held in the prefecture. Tottori prefecture is the “Kingdom of Manga” because two world-renowned manga artists, Shigeru Mizuki, the author of “GeGeGe no Kitaro”, and Gosho Aoyama, the author of “Detective Conan” were established in the area. In addition to being a pilgrimage site for many anime fans from Taiwan, Tottori prefecture also is known as “Japan’s most beautiful starry sky”, the LCC said.
