Thai Airways International reduces baggage allowance for some fare classes

Thai Airways International (THAI) will reduce its baggage allowance to 23 kg from 25 kg for economy passengers travelling on THAI’s economy standard and saver fares that are K, L, S, V and W classes. Read More » “This adjustment aligns with Star Alliance standards, ensuring a seamless travel experience for passengers connecting with partner airlines,” THAI said. “The standardised baggage policy helps reduce confusion when transferring flights and enhances overall convenience.” Economy full flex (B, M, and Y) and flexi (H, Q, T) fares receive a 30kg baggage allowance. The change will apply from April 1.
