All Nippon Airways to upgrade long-haul premium economy and economy seats

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has selected new seat types for its premium economy and economy cabins aboard its international fleet, starting with its 787-9s. Read More » The long haul aircraft will be fitted with Recaro Aircraft Seating seats that will be rolled out from 2026, ANA said. “ANA is committed to continually elevating the passenger experience. The new seats represent our ongoing investment in providing customers with greater comfort and convenience on our international flights,” ANA executive vice president of customer experience management and planning, Tomoji Ishii, said. The new premium economy seat has a 40 inch pitch, two inches longer than the 38-inch pitch in the Star Alliance member’s existing premium economy cabin, and a recline of nine inches. The economy class seat has an extra inch of space at knee level.
