Cebu Pacific has extended its agreement with AFI KLM E & M to include component support for the LCC’s CFM56-5B engines and on-wing/on-site services for its A320/A321 family.

Hong Kong-headquartered MRO HAECO, in partnership with Donecle, is trialling drones to assist aircraft inspections at its U.S. workshops. “These trials mark an important step in our commitment to smarter, safer and more efficient aircraft maintenance solutions,” HAECO group director of corporate development, Summit Chan, said.

Air travel technology provider, SITA, has signed a five-year service agreement with Airportr to develop a service offering travellers the option of checking in their luggage for upcoming travel from home or some other location before they depart for the airport.
