Hunnu Airlines accepts first E195-E2 into fleet

Mongolia-based Hunnu Airlines has received the first of two E195-E2s on order via lease from Azorra. Read More » Hunnu Air flies Embraer E190 aircraft, but the arrival of the E195-E2 is the first E2 series aircraft to operate in Mongolia. “We have been an E190 operator since 2019. The E195-E2 is the perfect extension [for us] as we meet growing demand for air travel in Mongolia and beyond,” Hunnu Air CEO, Munkhjargal Purevjal, said. “These new generation aircraft will allow us to increase capacity to Haikou, Sanya and Phu Quoc, expand services to Japan, China, Vietnam, India and South Korea and introduce scheduled flights to Tashkent.” Embraer Commercial Aviation chief commercial officer, Martyn Holmes, said: “We look forward to supporting Hunnu Air’s strategic growth and thank Hunnu Air for their continued partnership and our leasing partner Azorra for their continued collaboration, combining again with Embraer.”
