ANA Cargo has expanded its sales distribution reach thanks to a new initiative offering cargo space bookings through WiseTech Global’s CargoWise platform.

Online travel agent, AirAsia MOVE, and the Singapore Tourism Board have signed a Letter of Cooperation to work on travel packages aimed at encouraging Malaysians and Thais to visit the city.

Boeing has agreed to sell its Jeppesen, ForeFlight, AerData and OzRunways businesses - all are part of its Digital Aviation Solutions unit - to software investment company, Thoma Bravo, for US$10.55 billion in an all-cash deal. “This transaction is an important component of our strategy to focus on core businesses, supplement the balance sheet and prioritize the investment grade credit rating,” Boeing CEO, Kelly Ortberg, said.

Capital A’s catering arm, Santan, is replacing its plastic cups, lids and cutlery used on board AirAsia flights with biodegradable alternatives. Initially, the biodegradable items, manufactured from renewable resources, will be used at AirAsia’s Malaysia and Thailand carriers with the LCC’s five other operating airlines to follow.

GE Aerospace booked a net profit of US$2.2 billion for the three months to March 31, up 11% from a US$2 billion net profit in the same months in 2024. Revenue improved by 11% to US$9.9 billion, the engine manufacturer said. “GE Aerospace had a strong start to 2025 with orders and revenue up by double digits, driven by commercial services,” GE Aerospace CEO Lawrence Culp, Jr, said.
