Emirates Airlines introducing retrofitted aircraft on more routes; Dubai-Adelaide to debut A350-900ULR

Emirates Airline will commence flying to eight more cities with A380s and 777s retrofitted with the carrier’s latest cabin products. Read More » Asia-Pacific destinations to be serviced with the refreshed A380s are Bangkok (from July 1), Hong Kong (from October 1) and Perth (from October 26). The upgraded 777s will fly Dubai to Kuala Lumpur (from October 15) and Phuket (from December 1). The airline said Dubai-Adelaide will be the inaugural route for its three-class A350-900ULR that will start its flying on December 1. Emirates has refurbished 51 aircraft and is completing the cabin upgrades of its fleet at the rate of two aircraft a month. It operates 110 A380s and 109 777s. “The latest rollout of refurbished A380s, 777s and new A350s offers opportunities for customers in more than 70 dynamic cities and growing economies to enjoy our latest generation premium onboard experience combined with our award-winning service,” Emirates deputy president and chief commercial officer, Adnan Kazim, said. “Deploying our first long-range A350 to Adelaide is an exciting development and underscores the importance of Australia as a major eastbound anchor in our network.”
