First Etihad Airways A321LR to enter service in August

Etihad Airways has unveiled the cabin layout of its new A321LRs that will commence commercial operations on August 1. Read More » The Abu Dhabi-headquartered airline has configured the A321LR cabins with three seat classes: first (2), business (14) and economy (144). It is the first time Etihad will offer narrow-bodies with first class cabins. Etihad intends to be flying 10 A321LRs to 17 destinations by year end. Asia-Pacific destinations for the new aircraft will be Abu Dhabi to Bangkok, Chennai, Chiang Mai, Kolkata, Krabi, Medan, Phnom Penh and Phuket. Etihad CEO, Antonoaldo Neves, said: “We have taken the luxury experience of our wide-body fleet, for which we are famed, and adapted it to offer guests the same experience in a single-aisle aircraft.”
