Norse Atlantic Airways has wet leased two 787-9s to IndiGo, finalizing a Letter of Intent commitment for six of the type signed by the two carriers last November. Read More » “This agreement represents an important milestone in our collaboration with IndiGo and reinforces our partnership with one of the world’s leading airlines. The wet leases strengthen our strategic and financial position in a volatile market”, Norse Atlantic Airways founder and CEO, Bjorn Tore Larsen, said. The two wide-bodies are scheduled to start flying long haul from India next year. The leases run for six months and are extendable to 18 months. The first of the wet leased aircraft arrived at IndiGo in March and has entered service on Delhi-Bangkok.
