AirAsia has signed a charter services and aircraft leasing contract with the Malaysia Armed Forces. In addition to operating charter services, the contract, to August 2027, includes AirAsia transporting on duty armed forces personal on its commercial flights.

Cathay Pacific has integrated the Apple AirTag and its Share Item Location and Find My features to its baggage tracking systems to more quickly locate lost or delayed luggage.

Malaysia Aviation Group, parent of operating airlines Firefly and Malaysia Airlines, has received ISO 37001:2016 Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) certification. It is the first airline group in Malaysia to achieve ABMS certification.

Singapore-listed air transport services provider, SATS, has reported a net profit of S$243.8 million (US$190 million) in calendar 2024, more than four times its net profit of S$56.4 million in 2023. Revenue increased 13%, to S$5.8 billion, SATS reports. “In a time of uncertainty, this performance is a testament to our resilient business model, anchored by a global network with leading, diverse service offerings and the commitment of our dedicated team,” SATS CEO, Kerry Mok, said.
