Akasa Air has partnered with Adidas to design sneakers for its cabin crew and staff, called SkyEase.

AFI KLM E&M has initiated a major step towards MRO Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) use with its SAF Adoption for Engine Testing program. The MRO has purchased sufficient SAF to power 10% of the total engine test operations it conducts each year at its Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Amsterdam-Schiphol facilities. The MRO said approximately 300 engine test runs are conducted annually at the two shops. The SAF used for engine testing also will provide proof of concept for wider application across the MRO’s operations.

The Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) will be absorbed into the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) on August 1. “CAAM will assume the economic regulatory functions previously carried out by MAVCOM,” CAAM CEO, Dato’ Captain Norazman Bin Mahmud, said. “This strategic move positions CAAM as the country’s sole aviation regulator encompassing all technical, safety, security and economic aspects of the industry.”
