Garuda Indonesia commences 737 MAX 8 flights

Following the global grounding of all 737 MAX 8s after the fatal crashes of Ethiopian Airways and Lion Air 737 MAX 8s in 2019 and 2018, respectively, Garuda sought cancellation of the order. Media reports 737 MAX 8 PK-GDC is on lease from BOC Aviation.
