Today’s briefs report news from Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI), Air Hong Kong, Avmax Group, Cathay Group, China Airlines (CAL), DHL Express, and International Air Cargo Association. Read More »

The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) and Air Cargo Forum India (ACFI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the ACFI Conclave 2025. The partnership will strengthen cooperation in promoting the vital role of aviation and air cargo in driving economic and social development in India and the wider region. "By combining our strengths, we aim to elevate India’s role in the global supply chain and support broader economic and social development across the region," TIACA chair, Steven Polmans, said.

DHL Express has purchased 2,400 tonnes of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) from Cathay Group for flights operated by Air Hong Kong, an express all-cargo carrier and 100% subsidiary of the group.

China Airlines (CAL), has been named the HR Asia Best Company to Work for in Asia for the third consecutive year. China Airlines emerged from a field of 360 outstanding enterprises to receive the recognition from the judging panel.

Avmax Group, the world’s second largest lessor of regional jets and a unit of construction machinery giant, Sunward Intelligent Equipment Group, has received about US$23 million from insurers in compensation for three planes taken over by Russian airlines after Western sanctions were imposed on Russia in 2022.
