SIA Group reports strong air travel demand in latest month

Singapore Airlines Group (SIA) said passengers flown were higher by 9.7%, at 3.5 million air travellers in July, an increase from the 3.2 million passengers the group flew a year ago. Read More » Singapore Airlines increased passengers carried by 8%, to 2.3 million, and LCC Scoot recorded a 13.2% improvement in its customers to 1.2 million travellers in the month. "In July 2025, the Singapore Airlines Group saw strong passenger demand across both airlines and all route regions, supported by the traditional summer peak," SIA said in a regulatory filing. SIA Group passenger load factor was better by 2.9 percentage points, at 88.5%, in the 31 days, and capacity was expanded 2.8% in the month.
