Qantas Group has donated a retired 717 to Aviation Australia, creating a training opportunity for students of the Qantas Group Engineering Academy and strengthening the pipeline of skilled aviation professionals in Queensland, the Queensland Government has announced. Housed in Aviation Australia’s Brisbane airport hangar, the aircraft will serve as a real world classroom for future aircraft engineers.

IFE provider, West Entertainment, and All Nippon Airways formalized a multi-year partnership at the APEX Expo 2025 to enhance the passenger experience with personalized inflight entertainment, focusing on digital workflows, diverse content and passenger engagement.

Airbus has announced a significant production milestone with the delivery of its 100th A350-1000, accepted by Qatar Airways on August 13.

A bilateral summit of the leaders of Panama and Japan has resulted in a commitment from the Japanese government to negotiate a direct Panama-Tokyo route. Panama’s foreign minister, Javier Martínez-Acha, said the countries are close to finalizing direct flights. All Nippon Airways will be the designated airline operating the rotation.
