Air India raised about US$215 million from Bank of India and Standard Chartered for refinancing, The Economic Times of India reports.
Lufthansa Technik and Cathay Group have signed their largest MRO contract in their partnership. In the next six years, Lufthansa Technik will exclusively deliver Total Component Maintenance (TCM) for the 747 and 777 fleets of Cathay Group. Services for 20 747 freighters and 52 777s will commence in October.
Korean Air is partnered with U.S. defense technology firm, Anduril Industries, to develop an integrated solution to prevent and respond to large-scale wildfires. Under the partnership, Korean Air’s unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technologies will be integrated into Anduril’s wildfire response platform, powered by the U.S. company’s artificial intelligence (AI)-based Lattice software.
JAL Group has posted the JAL REPORT 2025 on its website, an integrated annual six chapter report for fiscal year to March 31, 2025. It consists of the Significance of the JAL Group, Overview of Management Strategy, Strategies for Each Business, Strengthening Management Resources, Governance, and Data Collection and presents how value is created through "air transportation" and "relationships and societal connections," as well as addressing critical social issues. The document includes a message from JAL’s president, representative director and Group CEO, Tottori Mitsuko, where she reflects on her first year as JAL s leader.
World Star Aviation (WSA) has signed a contract to convert 777-300ER passenger aircraft into freighter configuration.
