All Nippon Airways is introducing five electric vehicles - ground support equipment such as towing vehicles and baggage belt loaders - at Kobe Airport following the installation of fast charging facilities at the airport. Three vehicles commenced operations this month with two to added to operations from to March next year.

Avolon has signed leases with Royal Air Maroc for six 737 MAX 8s with starting now and next year.

Boeing has rolled out a digital authentication certificate, an 8130-3 certificate, to accompany a shipment of spare parts in partnership with Southwest Airlines and Aeroxchange. The certificate strengthens aerospace supply chain traceability and safety as well as efforts to prevent unapproved parts from entering the supply chain, Boeing said.

Embraer has received a firm order for 20 E195-E2s and purchase rights for up to 20 more of the type and also up to 10 E175-E1s from TrueNoord. It is the leasing company’s first direct order with an aircraft manufacturer.

Malaysia-headquartered cargo operator, Raya Airways, took delivery of its first 767-300F freighter late last week at Kuala Lumpur Subang Airport.

Safran has started construction of an MRO workshop for CFM International LEAP engines in Casablanca, Morocco. Construction is planned to be completed in 2027. The company also is building a new assembly line in Morocco for the LEAP-1A engine - an engine option on A320neo family aircraft - with a capacity to assemble up to 350 engines a year when the shop is operational in 2027.
