Air Cambodia is to launch three times a week Phnom Penh-Tokyo Narita via Fuzhou in China with A320s. Read More » It will be the first destination in Japan for the airline. Starting on March 2026, the carrier also will initiate Kansai-Airport from Phnom Penh, utilizing fifth freedoms that permit passenger and cargo operations through Fuzhou, Air Cambodia vice chairman and CEO, Dr. David Zhan, said. "These routes will forge new economic bonds between Cambodia, China and Japan, greatly facilitating travel for Cambodian and Japanese tourists. Beyond shortening geographical distances, they will immerse Japanese travelers in the splendors of Khmer civilization through our signature inflight cultural experiences," he said.
