Singapore introduces green aviation fuel tax

Read More » The new tax will be paid to the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, which will procure and manage Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The country’s goal is to increase the use of SAF to more than 1% by 2026 and to reach 3%-5% by 2030. The SAF levy is priced from S$3 (US$2.30) and S$16 for passengers travelling on economy class direct flights depending on the distance flown.
