More than 3.2 million international air travellers visited Japan last month

Read More » In total, 3.27 million visitors visited the country, 13.7% more than the same month last year. Most visitors were from East Asia, Europe, the U.S., Australia and the Middle East, JNTO said. In the same month, Japanese citizens who travelled abroad increased 15% to 1.4 million, exceeding one million outbound Japanese travellers for the fifth consecutive month, an 80% increase compared with pre-pandemic levels.
