Five leased aircraft join SpiceJet fleet

SpiceJet has added five aircraft to its operating fleet via damp lease. Read More » The LCC said all five aircraft have started commercial operations "amid surging passenger demand". The aircraft types were not disclosed. Their arrival follows the recent ungrounding and reactivation of four 737 family aircraft and arrival of a leased A340. "These inductions mark another significant step in our fleet and network expansion strategy," SpiceJet chief business officer, Debojo Maharshi, said. "The response to our new flights has been extremely encouraging, and we remain committed to further strengthening our operations across both domestic and international markets."
