Today’s briefs report news from AerCap, Airbus, Boeing, Incheon International Airport Corporation, My Freighter, Riga Airport and Spirit AeroSystems. Read More »

Boeing has completed acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems, bringing back in-house assembly of fuselages and major structures for its 767, 777 and 787 programs as well as spare parts and P-8 and KC-46 military aircraft.

Still with Spirit AeroSystems, Airbus has closed its purchase of industrial assets from the company, including factories and assembly facilities in France, Great Britain and Morocco.

AerCap and Uzbekistan-based My Freighter have signed leases covering two A321neo scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2027. My Freighter operates cargo services under its own name alongside charter and passenger flights as Centrum Air.

Incheon International Airport Corporation’s aviation academy and Riga Airport have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate on training programs and jointly promote each other’s training activities.
