Asiana Airlines inaugurated operations at Incheon Terminal 2 in preparation for Korean Air merger

Read More » Relocation is part of the carriers preparations for the merger into Korean Air (KAL), which has been using Terminal 2 since 2018. The first Asiana Airlines’ flight to arrive at Terminal 2 at 4:55 a.m. was OZ177 from Tokyo Haneda. The first flight that departed from Terminal 2 was OZ112, which took off to Osaka at 7:06 a.m. Asiana Airlines has been preparing for the move since August 2025. For the next two weeks, the company will operate an information desk in Terminal 1 to assist passengers who arrive at the wrong terminal. The carrier said it is also working with the airport to run emergency shuttle services between terminals for passengers who arrive at the wrong terminal. At Terminal 2, Asiana Airlines passengers can check in at counters G to J. Asiana passengers can also use four Korean Air lounges in Terminal 2.
