Read More » “Following initial deployments on European short- and medium-haul services and an intercontinental début on the Zurich-Boston route, SWISS’s new Airbus A350s are now to be assigned their first truly long-haul role,” the carrier said. The deployment of A350s on the route means the passengers will be able to experience the new ‘SWISS Senses’ inflight travel product. “The entirely new SWISS Senses cabin blends modern design with more privacy on board and greater in-flight comfort. The calm cabin ambience features state-of-the-art human-centric lighting, which helps minimize the impact of jet lag, too. SWISS Senses also extends to an enhanced on-board service with refined meal selections and thoughtful details that all put a firm emphasis on Swiss hospitality, from the first welcoming drink to landing the following morning,” SWISS said in the statement. Currently, the Star Alliance carrier is using Airbus A340 aircraft to operate the route.
