The Bangladesh government has appointed Ministry of Civil Aviation acting secretary, Humaira Sultana, as the acting CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, local media reported, citing an announcement from the Ministry. Her appointment followed the government terminating the contract of previous CEO, Shafiqur Rahman, who was arrested recently in relation to the alleged abuse of a young domestic worker.
