Malaysia Aviation Group boosts capacity for Hari Raya Aidilfitri

Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) carriers, Firefly and Malaysia Airlines, are set to operate 2,733 domestic flights between March 17 and March 29 to cater for the expected demand for air travel during the Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri period. Read More » Malaysia Airlines has 1,557 flights scheduled, while Firefly has 1,176 flights scheduled during the two-week period. The schedule includes red-eye overnight services to cities in the East Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak. MAG's two carriers are also offering capped fares on key routes between Peninsular Malaysia and East Malaysia, in line with a Malaysia government initiative. "This expanded schedule provides travellers with greater flexibility and more options to plan their journeys home," MAG said. "MAG remains committed to connecting people and places across the country during the Ramadan and Hari Raya Aidilfitri period, enabling meaningful family reunions and memorable journeys for travellers throughout the festive season."
