Indonesia AirAsia to offer discount domestic fares for Eid al-Fitr in line with government program

Indonesia AirAsia (IAA) has discounted fares for domestic travel by 17% to 18% during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period between March 14 and March 29. Read More » The air fare discounts are part of the Indonesia government’s transport discount program announced yesterday (February 10) worth 911 billion rupiah (US$54 million), which also includes bus and ships. About 155 million people travelled across Indonesia during Eid in 2025, local media reported, citing government figures. IAA acting CEO, Captain Achmad Sadikin Abdurachman, said the LCC supported the government program to provide safe, comfortable and accessible air transportation access to as many people as possible.
