MTU Aero Engines reported net profit of 1 billion euro (US$1.2 billion) for calendar 2025, up 60% from 642 million euro the prior year. Revenue rose 18% to 8.8 billion euro, said the Germany-headquartered company, which has operating bases in Mainland China, Australia and elsewhere in the Asia-Pacific, said in a regulatory filing. MTU Aero Engines has forecast revenue to rise to between 9.2 billion euro and 9.7 billion euro this year. "We made the most of market opportunities in 2025 and stayed on our successful course despite ongoing challenges," MTU Aero Engines CEO, doctor Johannes Bussmann, said. "The long-term growth prospects for our industry are positive."
