Yan Bing has been appointed General Manager of Lufthansa Group Greater China, based in Shanghai, effective March 1, 2026. Yan Bing has worked for the Lufthansa Group for over 20 years. She has held various management positions, including Head of Finance and Human Resources for the Asia Pacific region of the Lufthansa Group, and Managing Director of Lufthansa Group Hong Kong Business Services, overseeing finance, human resources, tax, procurement, and compliance across 16 Asia Pacific markets. In her new role, Yan Bing will be responsible for leading all commercial activities of the Group’s airlines currently operating in China—Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, and Austrian Airlines—and representing the commercial interests of other Lufthansa Group member airlines.
