Air India increases services to Japan and Vietnam

Read More » The Star Alliance member will commence flying four times a week from Mumbai to Tokyo Haneda from 15 June with 787-8 aircraft, with the flights scheduled as an overnight service from Mumbai and morning departure from Haneda. The new service joins Air India's existing daily nonstop service from Delhi to the close-in Tokyo airport. Air India’s new nonstop Delhi-Hanoi flights are due to start on May 1 and will operate five times a week with A320neo equipment. It is the airline’s second destination in Vietnam alongside its current Delhi-Ho Chi Minh City offering. "Japan and Vietnam have both emerged as fast-growing destinations for Indian travellers," Air India chief commercial officer, Nipun Aggarwal, said. Air India will be the fourth airline flying between Hanoi and Delhi alongside IndiGo, Vietjet and Vietnam Airlines.
