Cebu Pacific net profit doubles in 2025

Cebu Pacific has reported net profit of 12.3 billion peso (US$206 million) for calendar 2025, more than twice the net profit of 5.4 billion peso in 2024. "Cebu Pacific’s 2025 financial results demonstrate the returns of strategic investments in capacity growth, fleet modernisation and operational integrity," Cebu Pacific chief financial officer, Mark Cezar, said. "The larger, more fuel efficient A330NEOs and A321NEOs helped deliver improved seat economics network wide. Together with our focus on efficiency, this helped mitigate the increased expenses in maintenance, airports and fleet related costs due to grounded aircraft." Looking ahead, the airline reaffirmed plans to take delivery of seven new aircraft and retire seven aircraft this year, which will keep the fleet at 100 aircraft.
