Kapoor quits SpiceJet for Vistara

"The airline (Vistara) has the best possible parentage in the Tata Group and SIA, and with such wonderful genes, the world is its oyster," Kapoor said in a statement after quitting SpiceJet a year ahead of his term. According to sources, he was side-lined after the new management, led by Ajay Singh, took over earlier this year. Kapoor will be succeeding chief commercial officer, Giam Ming Toh, who will return to SIA on completion of his tenure.


Obeidat takes over as Royal Jordanian interim CEO

The Royal Jordanian board of directors has elected Captain Suleiman Obeidat a board member, and mandated him as interim president and chief executive of Royal Jordanian, effective October 27, for a transitional period of three months. The board of directors accepted the resignation of former president and chief, Captain Haitham Misto.
